The long awaited and award-winning new Superinteressante Magazine's website, aired in June 2015. Designed by me and developed by Just Digital
The old Superinteressante website sustained practically the same layout (with a few modifications over the years) between 2009 and 2014! Astonishing! So yeah, my old friend was desperately in need of a new look.
Goodbye old, outdated and boring layout. Hello handsome, fresh and award-winning layout!
Everything was meticulously planned from scratch. Even the wireframes are pixel-perfect! Yeah, I'm a perfeccionist. Along with that, our team conducted a research using card sorting in order to build the ideal menu. Why? The website has two types of public: the magazine readers and the website readers – each one seek a different thing. The goal was to merge the best of the two worlds.
The original idea consisted of building a 100% responsive website, but due to some technical limitations, I ended up designing an adaptive version split into three breakingpoints: desktop, tablet and mobile.
The colors and fonts match the magazine’s design at the time.
The hard work has been paid off. In 2016, Superinteressante's website was awarded “Site of The Year” (jury's choice) at the 41st Prêmio Abril de Jornalismo.
Thank you!
